The brief

The Bar of Northern Ireland needed campaign films that could bring complex legal and public issues to a wider audience. The work covered two distinct briefs: access to justice and the rule of law, and a campaign highlighting the concerns of the Criminal Bar.

Each film needed to communicate a clear purpose while respecting the detail and seriousness of its subject. Together, they show how a professional body can use video to contribute to public understanding and explain the issues it represents.

Our contribution

SlackPress produced two campaign videos for the Bar, giving each subject a focused film that could be shared with its audiences. The work brought our production experience to specialist communications where clarity, tone and credibility matter.

The films serve different communications needs: introducing the wider significance of access to justice and the rule of law, and presenting the Criminal Bar’s campaign around the pressures facing criminal legal aid.
