Introducing the charity’s recruitment and onboarding approach to prospective staff and volunteers.
Discuss a similar projectAction for Children wanted to communicate its Disability Confident recruitment and onboarding approach through the experiences of people already working and volunteering with the charity. The campaign aims to help prospective applicants understand its approach to inclusion, support and participation.
In November 2025, SlackPress worked with Action for Children’s UK and Northern Ireland teams to produce testimonial films about those experiences.
The selected campaign film is led by Denise, a volunteer in Northern Ireland, and brings together voices from across the organisation. Personal accounts of recruitment, reasonable adjustments and feeling supported give the subject a human perspective.
Action for Children: A Disability Confident Employer
People working and volunteering with Action for Children share their experiences of recruitment and support. The November 2025 campaign film gives prospective applicants an introduction to the charity through the people already contributing to it.
