A body of film and live production work supporting how First Derivative recruits, welcomes and brings its people together. From graduate and placement recruitment campaigns to induction, corporate team building and live events, the aim was to make the company’s people, opportunities and culture tangible.
SlackPress worked with First Derivative to shape creative concepts, storyboards and production plans. We filmed employee interviews, workplace stories and events, developed branded motion graphics and produced edits for recruitment campaigns, internal communications and content across its social channels.
We put employees at the centre of the story, combining natural interviews with workplace footage, animation and a visual language familiar from social media. The films introduce career opportunities through the experiences and personalities of the people already there.
Our wider work included new-starter induction, policy and training films, leadership content and corporate team-building videos. These productions helped First Derivative explain working life, introduce its people and share the moments that bring colleagues together.
We supported event concept development and programming alongside multi-camera filming and live broadcasting, working with event and streaming partners where needed. Sizzle reels, speaker content and branded films connected the live programme with its wider communications.
From Dare to Dream in Edinburgh to team events in London, we captured presentations, interviews, activities and the atmosphere around them. Highlight films and shorter social edits gave First Derivative content to share across its channels after each event.
